For the fourth episode of "Listen. Learn. Live.", I had the privilege of sitting down with Serge Kollwelter, co-founder and first president of ASTI, an organisation that has played an important role in Luxembourg’s approach to migration and integration.

For three decades, Serge dedicated much of his life to people coming to Luxembourg from other countries — listening to them, defending their rights and working for a society where everyone can find their place.

In our conversation, we talk about migration, integration, solidarity, courage and humanity. But beyond these subjects, I wanted to discover the person behind the commitment:

What drives someone to dedicate so much of their life to others?

What has he learned from the people he has met along the way?

And what would he tell the younger generation about living together in an increasingly diverse world?

A deeply human conversation about the importance of seeing the person before the label and about what connects us all.
